Proclamation

God is present. I am not abandoned.

God has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

I cast this care upon Him because He cares for me. I breathe slowly, name what is true, and take the next safe step.

Jesus gives peace. My heart does not have to obey panic. I can seek help.

Faithful next actions

  • Exhale longer than you inhale for several slow breaths if medically safe.
  • Name five things you can see and one person you can contact.
  • Use emergency or crisis services for danger, severe symptoms, or thoughts of self-harm.

Use with wisdom

  • Use Scripture alongside responsible mental-health support, safety planning, and professional care when appropriate.
  • Prayer and proclamation do not replace qualified medical care. Seek urgent or emergency help when needed.
