Privacy-first measurement
No account is required. Optional first-party analytics may count page visits, searches, reading depth, downloads, and performance totals. Analytics events do not store prayer text, copied text, raw search text, names, email addresses, raw IP addresses, or raw user-agent strings.
Visitor recommendations
The optional recommendation form stores the submitted Scripture reference, topic, explanation, source link, page path, and—only when supplied—an email address for editorial follow-up. Recommendations are stored in the project’s first-party Cloudflare D1 database for review. The form stores a one-way hash of an anonymous browser token for deduplication and abuse control; it does not store the raw token, raw IP address, or user-agent string.
Android app
The app’s Scripture alarms stay on your phone and are never sent to us. To ring offline, it downloads the free recordings of the passages they read. It has no account and no ads.

Aggregate site measurement
Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate, cookie-free page and performance totals through zone-level automatic installation. The controls above govern Speak Scripture’s optional first-party engagement events. Review the public field contract at /data/tracking-schema.json.
