Scripture foundation

Psalm 103:1-5 BSB

Of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul; all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget all His kind deeds— He who forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the Pit and crowns you with loving devotion and compassion, who satisfies you with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Isaiah 53:3-6 BSB

He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. Like one from whom men hide their faces, He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows; yet we considered Him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. We all like sheep have gone astray, each one has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid upon Him the iniquity of us all.

Proverbs 4:20-24 BSB

My son, pay attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not lose sight of them; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to the whole body. Guard your heart with all diligence, for from it flow springs of life. Put away deception from your mouth; keep your lips from perverse speech.

Proclamation

Father, I bless You and remember Your benefits. You forgive, heal, redeem, crown, satisfy, and renew. Jesus bore sin, grief, sorrow, and shame, and by His wounds I receive the wholeness You provide. The Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me and gives life to my mortal body. You give power to the faint and increase strength to those who have no might. You began a good work in me, and You are faithful to continue it. My body belongs to You; therefore I will honor You in worship, rest, nourishment, movement, treatment, and obedience. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. This day belongs to You. Lead me in truth, wisdom, courage, and peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.
