Scripture foundation

Psalm 23:1-6 BSB

A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Matthew 6:31-33 BSB

Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles strive after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.

God Is My Source

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

My heavenly Father knows that I need food, drink, clothing, shelter, and every legitimate necessity.

Jesus is my treasure and Lord; money is a servant and never my master.

God is my Source. Jobs, clients, customers, benefits, family, churches, agencies, and institutions are channels.

I ask for daily bread and receive today's wisdom without carrying tomorrow's anxiety.

My God supplies all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

God gives me wisdom liberally and does not shame me for asking.

The favor of the Lord rests upon me and establishes the work of my hands.

God gives me ability, strength, skill, creativity, and opportunity to produce value.

Work and Tangible Needs

I work heartily, honestly, skillfully, and usefully as unto the Lord.

I complete applications, calls, follow-ups, invoices, repairs, and assignments promptly.

I receive suitable employment, clients, customers, contracts, wages, benefits, and opportunities without compromising truth.

I receive nourishing food, clean water, suitable clothing, and safe shelter.

I receive heat, electricity, sanitation, communication, and every necessary household utility.

I receive medicine, qualified care, equipment, insurance, assistance, rest, and strength for wise bodily care.

I receive reliable transportation or an effective alternative for work, worship, care, family, and service.

I receive the tools, equipment, software, supplies, and information required for my assignment.

I receive wisdom and provision to care for children, elders, disabled family members, and every dependent entrusted to me.

Obligations and Stewardship

I face bills, debts, taxes, contracts, balances, and deadlines without fear or hiding.

God gives provision, favor, discipline, and increased earning capacity to meet obligations and move toward freedom.

I communicate honestly, negotiate lawfully, correct errors, stop waste, and keep every promise I make.

I reject predatory loans, gambling, fraud, manipulation, panic spending, and desperate schemes.

I count accurately, budget truthfully, maintain wisely, save appropriately, and correct disorder without shame.

I humbly receive help through every honest channel God appoints.

I do not mistake assistance, benefits, medical care, payment arrangements, or community support for unbelief.

God makes all grace abound toward me so that I have sufficiency in all things for every good work.

God gives bread to eat and seed to sow; I do not surrender essential household money under pressure.

Purpose, Contentment, and Thanksgiving

I provide responsibly, give willingly, and help wisely. Increase expands my capacity for family care, gospel work, mercy, and service.

Poverty, sickness, unemployment, or delay does not determine my identity or prove that God has abandoned me.

I tell the truth about present conditions while agreeing with God's character, promises, and wisdom.

I reject fear, greed, envy, shame, comparison, waste, dishonesty, and despair.

Christ strengthens me in abundance and need.

God never leaves or forsakes me; the Lord is my helper.

I recognize partial provision: wisdom, protection, an extension, a referral, a corrected error, restored strength, or a better plan.

I give thanks before the answer is visible and testify truthfully after provision comes.

Jesus remains my treasure, God remains my Source, and I take the next faithful step today.

Faithful next actions

  • Write the exact need, amount or item, deadline, minimum safe solution, and preferred fuller solution.
  • Identify resources already present and the people or organizations to contact now.
  • Complete the clearest faithful action before nonessential activity.
  • Record partial provision, including wisdom, an extension, a corrected error, a referral, protected loss, restored strength, or a better plan.

Use with wisdom

  • God is Source; no minister, donor, employer, client, institution, or method is God.
  • Jesus is the treasure; provision serves relationship, responsibility, love, witness, and good works.
  • A need is not a moral failure. Hardship does not automatically prove sin, weak faith, or divine rejection.
  • Confession is not magic or denial. Speak Scripture while reviewing documents, correcting errors, communicating, and acting.
  • Giving does not purchase a miracle. Give willingly, truthfully, and without coercion.
  • Protect essentials. Do not surrender food, rent, medicine, utilities, child care, taxes, or required transportation because someone pressures you to sow.
  • Use practical channels. Qualified care, benefits, charities, agencies, insurance, payment plans, and professional advice can be God's provision.
  • Reject predatory solutions. Do not use fraud, gambling, payday traps, dishonest claims, manipulative fundraising, or reckless debt.
  • Specific prayer leaves God free to choose the route. Name the amount, item, and deadline without demanding that one person or channel provide it.
  • Prosperity has a purpose. Seek sufficiency, responsibility, stability, service, generosity, and every good work—not comparison, luxury display, or domination.
